The new moon in Aries starts at sundown March 29th (if you’re gonna do the 12-day zodiac counting thing which I mentioned) comes via partial solar eclipse. You can find out times and see a cool preview simulation of the eclipse at space.com here. This is important because this is the last eclipse in Aries for almost a decade. It wants to remind us Aries strength is instinct, it’s courage and passion that comes from the heart. It’s joyful and sincere, like a child. Any crap that has gathered during your lifetime that’s covered your love, desire, energy, passion, drive, goals, creativity, ideas can be burned away.
Aries season is for courage. It’s the start of the journey of life. The first sign of the zodiac starts the new year, bursting like that spark it is. Look back to April 20, 2023. What was going on then? This last one on March 29 wraps up the Aries-Libra axis of eclipses (we’ve had four others) and culminates a story. What have you learned about yourself and your power? How do you live that in relationships? Do you? Everyone has seen titanic shifts in this. Hopefully you’ve seen more growth, self-love and better relationships.

Personal Sovereignty: France Showing the Gap Between the Individual & Leaders
When it started back in 2023, the French government people decided to change retirement ages and rules and that night all French people everywhere erupted in protests that lasted for weeks. Oh, I heard the people sing. Until late in the night. And we also smelled it, as the garbage didn’t get collected for weeks and the smell was real. It was also lit on fire. (So. Smelly.)
The U.S. had an election around the last eclipse, October 2, 2024. We know how that went. We are dealing with it now, and will continue to do so for some time. Sovereignty.
Aries Giving Courage to Face Hard Things
The lies we tell ourselves about our motivation and others have been ripped away in these years. We have to deal with each other and ourselves in a true way. Aries being a sign of heart and love and strength and forging new paths is great at that. It’s a sign of courage. And action as its ruled by Mars.
That talk you’ve wanted to have with someone, you can find the words and have it. That dream you put on the backburner? Dust it off. That idea you had you were to into but you didn’t know how to find a way? Talk to some people.
That this new moon is happening with Mercury and Venus retrograde means it’s a time to go back and find those diamonds we left along the way. People. Ideas. Money. Confidence. Get it.
This last dose of Aries Mars wisdom comes with Mercury and Venus retrograde. Mercury in Aries and Venus in the last degree of Pisces. Pisces is about unconditional love and mercy and endings – and its exalted in Pieces. That’s that big, fat, juicy love. Aries is about passion and action and beginnings.
