I hope you find something (or a lot of somethings) that bring you connection, joy, fun, wisdom, adventure, good times, certainty, miracles, and love. That is the goal.
This site was born out of a desire to help people connect to themselves, practically improving their lives by talking about who we are and what we want, our experiences and our pains, our dreams and wishes. If we know ourselves better we can make our world better. And we can enjoy it more!
This work started accidentally. Even I can’t believe I’m here sometimes lol.
For years you’d find me in a corner at parties or dinners, huddled with someone doing their chart and talking about them. Like very personal stuff. This was often a stranger. This connection with another and seeing the effect of the reading on them gave me the satisfaction I’d wanted in my journalism career: make a tangible improvement in other’s lives. We all want to be seen and understood. This work does that. Knowing their issues were in their chart, as well as their talents and pains and dreams and fears, helped whomever was in front of me feel better about whatever they were going through. They were inspired and encouraged and also relieved. It feels good to be seen and validated.

It’s amazing what a sincere desire to help someone can do. It’s also amazing that me reading a birth chart does that!
That’s why I love astrology and sharing it. It helps us feel less alone, less crazy, less WTF.
Because yes, there is a the fuck lol.
I did it for years as just a joy and then someone insisted on paying me to do charts – and then several business minded friends helped me with that part (cuz that’s not my natural gift) – and here we are lol.
We all help each other realize our dreams. And sometimes our gifts.
It’s funny because people tend to think that astrology is either some kind of forecasting or foretelling. That or it’s a prediction of how one is to be forever. Nope. Not at all. As one of my favorite astrologers reminds, the starts do not compel. In fact, if we are acting like our sign we are actually off track…How’s that for some info!
Some info about us: Serendipity is a favorite word. We don’t do coincidences. And magic is made.

So obviously, I want to learn things and travel and share what I learn and learn some more. And I can do it in several languages (working on my fourth).
I’ve spent my entire career as a journalist, first in television in NY (those big places with letters), then in Los Angeles working in print. I’ve covered many of the major people and things, but all that matters about that is that is lead me to this work. To want to understand more profoundly our world. To get to what matters: why. And to make a difference at the root of things to improve the world.
As a crime reporter I have seen the worst people can do. Covering things like Sept 11th from 30 Rock though, I also saw the best people can do. A small town in Indiana brought me wonderful realizations about how alike we humans can be, despite how different our lives have been. The North Carolina coast before a hurricane showed me how selfless people can be and how beautiful and awesome nature is, even as it terrorizes. And Florida, well, yes, sadly that place has showed me again and again and again how Florida Florida can be lol (sigh), but also omg how amazing Cuban coffee is, oh my lord!
Every place has value and beauty and lessons, just like each person.
What I came to be curious about, though, amidst my impressive job that became less so with each passing day (that’s for my upcoming memoir lol), is why we make the choices we do. It’s not about where we were born or our parents. It’s not about money or environment. Except when it is lol. Each person has an amazing history, an incredible journey, and an important story. But what’s it all about?
Why do we each have the challenges and gifts we do? How can we make our lives more joyous, prosperous, and fun? And yes, how do we handle the f*query way better? People aren’t very happy or fulfilled these days, how can we turn this ship around?
These gnawing questions increasingly rattled me. We weren’t talking about these things that mattered en masse and it kept bothering me. Big time. There had to be keys to unlock this world. How could we have peace in a world like this? How could we be fulfilled? Because some did seem to live it. I wanted to as well.
Being in network news in the early oughts (oooof) I quit my staff job. People thought I was crazy but I couldn’t live with myself in that job. “Success” and my dreams coming true – beyond – didn’t make me happy. What the heck? I wondered how I found myself in that particular hell. (Hello Saturn return.) I also saw that from my high perch of access another game was being played – in news and politics and business and our world at large. I tried to make changes but finally saw a young naïve me was not going to break down the system. Not that way and not yet. So I left. To find more…
And did I. Of course, it didn’t look like I thought. It brought me both way more than I ever imagined while also showing me there is always another game afoot. Awakenings are no joke. Luckily neither are the people you meet along the way and how you grow. Amazing. So many angels.
Astrology has gone from an interest that I read about to a hobby to a big part of my life. It is a wisdom that aids us. I still seek to understand why, including just how these moon and stars can tell us about ourselves – cuz what kinda magic is this! – but while I ask those questions accepting that the answers will be revealed in their time, I am excited to share the wisdom with you. To help you on your journey.
The diamond *is* you. Indeed this world is DIY, but that doesn’t mean we can’t help each other. Like a wise person said, we are all just walking each other home…
