Full Moon in Libra: Aries, Identity, and the You Underneath It All

Aries is the me. Libra is the we.

And this full moon wants to know: when those two meet, do you disappear, or do you show up?

This full moon in Libra season is putting you — yes, glorious, complicated you — directly in the spotlight of your relationships. No pressure. (Lots of pressure. Mes stars, let’s go.)

Quick hits before we dive in:

  • Chiron’s back in Aries for one last spin — you won’t see this again for ~40 years
  • Saturn’s in Aries too, playing hall monitor to your passions
  • Neptune’s in Aries, tossing dreams into the mix (cute, but watch for illusions)
  • Chiron, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are all retrograde right now, so this is big time inside work for everyone — anger included
  • Mars and Uranus are also in the mix for this full moon, as well as Venus Retrograde in Scorpio shadow zone cuz you know, good times.

A Note on This Full Moon

Chiron in Aries just returned for its last rodeo for about 40 years, so this full moon in Libra is highlighting — nay, superspotlighting — YOU.

Glorious you.

Now, how did that line make you feel?

Because if you don’t love you — all of you — Chiron’s final eight months in Aries are here to bring you exactly that. It’s bringing you you. The world wants you. And if the people around you don’t want you, that’s a hint to change the people, not to change you. (I mean unless you do need to change some stuff in which case, change away…)

Libra is the sign of relationships, so of course you’re in the spotlight during the month of relationships. That’s the Aries/Libra Tango.

Do you disappear in relationships? Diminish yourself?

Or, conversely, do you overpower others? (Before you respond too fast, maybe take a second. It may not be in all relationships but some? And if you are curious, you can always ask the others.)

Some Real Talk on Aries, Mes Stars

Aries, as the first sign of the zodiac, can be childish.

We need to talk about it.

Yes, Aries is courageous, full of ideas and gumption — it’s the sign of the entrepreneur, after all. But do you act rashly, without thinking of others or the consequences?

You’re not a child, lol.

Children are wonderful for their idealism and gusto, but you’re an adult. If you haven’t learned to tame those childish ways, are you doing damage around you and calling it “living your truth”? Have you considered that maybe it’s time to grow up?

Aries at its best leads with heart — a sincere passion to bring something to fruition, to follow a dream, to help make the world better, and to bring people along for the journey. Like a child, it has exuberance, joy, enthusiasm, and a wish to share it with others.

That’s the Aries child we want to be. All yes and passion and lfg!

How does a child mature at its best? That’s the vibe we’re going for. You can read more about the Aries Full Moon in Libra season protocols in this article here.

Chiron, Saturn, and Neptune in Aries Retrograde: What This Full Moon Is Really Asking

Chiron in Aries — the wounded healer — is asking us to heal ourselves. Do you know who you are? How’s your self-esteem?

A lot of Gen X carries this placement, and lord, are we seeing them not rise to the occasion right now, when we need them to act on what they feel. (You cannot tell me most of them are okay with this. Lol.)

Do you know who you are, and are you acting from it with your whole chest?

Chiron here means we’re healing wounds from this life or past ones — and the point isn’t just the wound. It’s that the wound becomes a place of strength, a place we lead from. Injured, and still moving.

That’s the vibe.

Saturn in Aries is teaching us that our relationship to our passions, our beliefs, our sense of self may be off-kilter. Saturn is the planet of hard lessons, karma, and father time.

Go slow with your ideas, your passion, so you don’t singe yourself or the people around you with too much speed. Saturn means a hall monitor shows up — less fun than sprinting 1,000 miles ahead, sure, but also less risk of harm, and more chance of actually building something solid.

Neptune in Aries is where our dreams lurk inside our passions — which I love for us. We can bring our ideas to life with energy and gusto.

Just watch for those pesky illusions that can lead us down roads to nowhere fast — cuz Aries, lol. Dream big, and give yourself a pause to make sure it’s not an illusion you’re chasing.

Chiron, Saturn, and Neptune are all retrograde right now, which means the energy is interior. We’re inside, feeling these limits, these illusions, these pains. That means it’s real work between ourselves and the Creator.

It’s the start of the new astrological year, so go inside, and use what you find there to build it.

Full Moons and Releasing: How’s Your Anger?

Full moons are about releasing.

And with so much retrograde energy in Aries placements, that’s some interior real talk about what needs to go. With Aries involved, it’s likely anger, and pain from past hurts — both what was done to us, and what we did.

Mars and Uranus are also involved in this full moon — use them to check your anger and see if it’s ready to be healed.

The world has enough anger.

Maybe we can look at our own, find the grief hiding behind it, and work on that instead.

Full moons are about releasing.

What are you ready to let go of?

In the New Moon of Libra I gave a word for each sign, so check yours here and use it all year long. It still applies now so review yours and see what you may want to release to let this in…

Ready to Actually Answer That?

Release is a lot easier when you know what you’re releasing, and why it keeps circling back.

That’s what a reading with me is for — we go straight into your chart and find out what this Aries-Libra axis is actually asking of you. Not in theory. In your real life.

And if you want the how behind all of it — the tradition this work is actually rooted in — my beginner Kabbalah class is launching soon. No experience needed, just curiosity. It’s the foundation under everything I do here, and now you can learn it too.

Book a reading. Keep an eye out for the class.

Mes stars, this is your season to actually get some answers.
