The DIY Scorpio Insights November 10: Deepening Self-Discovery and Intuition

Embrace the Depth of Scorpio Season
Don’t be afraid of the depth or the mystery of life and our path unfolding. We are here for it.

Understanding Scorpio Season

Ah, Scorpio season—that time of intense feelings and all our emotions on high alert. It’s a water sign, but it is the fire of water. Steam. When focused, it can help our world function amazingly. When unfocused, awful burns.

Scorpio is a season symbolizing desire, ambition, depth, and truth, but its shadow side is fear. This fear can manifest in control, mistrust, manipulation, and secrets. You know, not good. It is opening to our shadow side emotions however, that this season rules. Scorpio has depth and strength to go into the hard stuff and come out the other side. Amazing. That’s what we are aiming for and this week’s consciousness from the Zohar* helps us with that.

Navigating Strong Emotions

This week, during Scorpio season, we are feeling everything strongly. The black-and-white thinking that can cloud our judgment is rearing its head: hate, stubbornness, right and wrong. These themes dominate the headlines, leading to blame and a sense of fault that we externalize.

Everything is blame, everything is their fault, everything is over there. Black and white makes everyone see so easily. But we know it’s not. It’s about slowing that rush to judge others and sitting with how we feel and looking at our own positions. Do you want to be alone and right or with others in peace?

Scorpio season is about depth. Our depth, inside.

Reflecting Inward: A Call to Action

“It goes against the grain of man’s nature to look inward and reflect upon his own amoral attributes. Our five senses are steadfastly tuned toward the external environment around us. We acquire the inner strength to go deep into ourselves and expel the hard-hearted qualities from our character.” —Zohar, Lech Lecha, 13

This week’s energy is a clear message to go inside. But to what end? It is to connect with our intuition, understand our purpose, and determine how we want to live and what we believe. It is not about our family or community and what they and think; it’s about our individuality and living from that.

The Journey Begins: “Go Out”

The portion starts with the words “go out.”

It is clear and simple, and it expands on this by saying we are each to leave the house of our family, our culture, and our community, and go to a place that will be shown to us. We are to get away from what we know to find not only ourselves and what we think but to do our work. It’s hard to be yourself when everyone around you wants to tow some line. We all can relate to that. This week and sign shows us it is the time to do that.

We are not supposed to be a carbon copy of our environments. We are to become ourselves, carve our own path, go out, and experience and do and be. With that Scorpio strength and heart. Becoming over and over and over.

Scorpio season is a time of depth, loyalty, enduring love, and strength. Interestingly, scorpions are the one animal that can survive an apocalypse; their survival abilities are enormous. However, they are also known to take their lives when afraid. We must manage our emotions lest they take over.

Life is a Journey of Change

Many of us believe that we only go and explore when we are children. That’s it. We then build a life and that’s it. However, this lesson is clear: the act of going out is something we continue throughout our lives—over and over again. We must keep leaving behind what we think we know to discover more. Often this involves a physical place, but of course the real thing is our consciousness. Learning and growing and evolving.

Transforming Intense Emotions

We will feel a lot during this intense month, but can we sit with these emotions and transmute them into something useful? Fear can be a valuable tool when confronting danger, but it can also arise from embarrassment, shame, or the desire to avoid discomfort.

We will feel a lot, especially this month; it is intense, but are we able to sit with it and transmute it into something useful? That’s the thing that brings lasting results. Fear is, of course, useful if you are dealing with a life and death situation. But as we can be triggered by embarrassment or shame, or the desire to avoid it, is what we are feeling the thing, or is it hiding something below, which is the actual thing for us to deal with and transmute? What is the fear masking? We can go inside and come through more whole.

Ask yourself: Are our feelings genuine responses, or are they hiding deeper issues that need to be addressed? By confronting and transmuting these feelings, we can enhance our overall happiness.

Embrace the Mystery: It’s Time

Don’t be afraid of the depth or the mystery of life and our path unfolding. We are here for it. Scorpio season is supporting us.

“Our inner state of being is our absolute priority. Make that your top priority; nothing is more important than that because everything cascades from that.” —Pam Gregory

The lessons this week are encouraging us to make our inner connection our focus, leave what we think we know, and discover more.

As we navigate this powerful Scorpio season, let us embrace the depths of our emotions and the transformative journey within. It is a time for introspection, where we confront our fears and uncover hidden truths. By shedding the weight of external expectations and focusing on our authentic selves, we empower our spirits to rise and thrive. Remember, the strength of Scorpio lies not just in its intensity but in its ability to evolve. Let this week be a call to action: to delve deeper, to trust our intuition, and to boldly live out our unique paths. Embrace the mystery of life and your journey—you are here for a reason, and the best is yet to come.
