Mind your ego, mes amis. This one’s important.
North Node enters Aquarius around July 26, 2026, and stays until March 26, 2028 (time zone depending).
The quick note on this new almost two-year cycle: if you are sincerely for others — and that means with your money, your mouth, your talents, your daily routines and habits, your love, kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness — you are going to love this era. But if you are thinking me first, what about me, how am I getting taken care of — especially if you are already okay with money, housing, food, and clothes — chile, you will feel this one hard.
This isn’t about punishment. This era is about making us all more focused on the we. On the fact that if you are taken care of, then I am taken care of. That if we tend the gardens together, we will all be good. That if we each shine and take delight in each other’s shining, everything will get done. That we are actually each other — and so we must live that way.
That is what this era is about.

The North Node in Aquarius — the sign of freedom for all, individual sovereignty, and the collective good — and I keep coming back to her. She is what this era is asking of all of us. Stand up. Speak up. For everyone.
And do it for yourself like her. Because liberation for all includes you. Non? 💫 Also, don’t think this legend had it easy, nor her full story with a happy ending. She was imprisoned and executed the day after she gave birth for her totally appropriate actions. (I would start calling myself Mulâtresse because yes and her, BUT with the root word mule…I think it’s past time for a new word. Ideas?)

North Node in Aquarius: Doing for Others as Our Baseline
Kabbalistic astrology is very practical. It’s very: let’s look at why this is happening, how it can benefit me, and what I need to do to get there. Because the truth is, that is the best way to create an improved world.
If you need help seeing why caring only about yourself — and that means only your family, your friends, your company, your job — is going to be a problem, you are going to have an amazing opportunity for growth. Lol. Because it is in the small things and the big things.
It’s a shift to caring about everyone. That is the consciousness.Actively, practically, and out loud.
And let’s be honest, because that is very much what we do around here: we all have places where it’s hard to be selfless. That is also where we can help each other. Because we are that way for a reason. We weren’t loved, so we over-indulge in food and wine. Or sex and frivolity. Or vacations. Rather than going to therapy, learning to love ourselves, and finding people who actually click with us, we escape in a myriad of ways. We dull our desires because someone hurt us — or continues to — and it’s “easier” to numb the pain by simply not caring about others.
But caring for others more does not mean we ignore our own pain. It means we care about others. The other is not you. They don’t deserve the wrath of your pain, or to suffer because you did. In fact, just the opposite — where you suffered, you should want to ensure others do not. Yes, even the others who hurt you. I know. Big ask. But we can do it.
Because the North Node–South Node axis is karma (South Node) and potential (North Node). What goes around comes around. Don’t you want your own missteps to be met with mercy rather than harsh judgment? Yes. Thought so. Don’t you want to make the progress available at this time? Yes. Thought so.
But that’s not even the main focus of this North Node in Aquarius, South Node in Leo era. The focus is on universal love. Good times for all. Letting your freak flag fly because you want to — and that’s cool with everyone, because we’re all doing the same. It’s ensuring that everyone has the freedom to live safely, happily, and abundantly as they choose. That we care for those who are struggling, and do so with joy in our hearts.
Sounds like heaven on earth, right? It is so possible. It just requires all of us to show up differently. Often, where it’s uncomfortable. This we learn from Aquarius…
Aquarius Love Freedom, Could Work on Intimacy
Aquarius strength can be seen in their love of freedom, their out there ahead-of-the-game thinking and their true brilliance (more on this sign in this article here). That is what this time is about and yes, how great is that.
HOWEVER, along with that, is the challenging aspect of Aquarius we want to work on so we transform it. Aquarius placements challenging point is one-on-one intimacy. Closeness. That is what this time requires we all keep in mind, that we dont miss the individual love and care, the slow moments of intimacy with others, in our quest for freedom. Because that closeness, those sweet simple moments of pleasure and connection are what make this world sing.
That friend that needs more of your time than you want to give. That job that requires you to share more of yourself than you want to. That person that wants you to open up more so they can feel you. Those are all things that can come up at this time, and as we are working to create a better world we may dismiss those things we find uncomfortable because its too much, its not what I want, why do they need that.
Our care in this time must stretch us. That’s always, and something we should’ve learned in these past almost two years of Pisces North Node, but here it is again. Because yes, that is our work in this world. Not only to change, but to change in ways that are often uncomfortable, but that yield us what we want.
Of course, this doesn’t mean you let yourself be coerced into something thats against your inner guidance – hells no. But I think you know wha I mean. Why are your boundaries where they are? Are they to keep our pain or silly emotional messes? Because as an air sign, Aquarius can logic away feelings. And thats not the vibe. So keep that in mind.
Zoran Mamdani has an Aquarius Moon and Saturn, as well as DC. He is also a Leo Sun and Chiron. He is so clearly, brilliantly for the all. (I’m curious to see how these years shape him and am rooting for him to continue to be a pillar for social love in policy as well as fanning his home life.)
Aquarius Stellium folks include Jackie Robinson, Takashi Murakami, Michael Jordan (lol did you see that doc I called his Aquarius from what he said like yo, yes massive ego – he is a GOAT – but also, a cold brilliance. That Saturn aspect of Aquarius was clear.
Famous people with North Node Aquarius, South Node Leo are: Taylor Swift, Albert Einstein, Elon Musk, Tupac Shakur.
Remember, according to the Kabbalists, the North Node shows where our soul’s journey wants to go to in this lifetime. With Pluto there for the next 20 years these folks are getting a boot on their necks to be for all.
And for the next two years, we are all under this. Remember, Rosa Parks, Gallileo Gallilei and Mozart were all Aquarians. Lol no pressure.
South Node in Leo: That Ego and Self-Absorption Is Not It, Boo
The South Node in Leo is a reminder that yes, you are supposed to shine and be fully yourself — amidst freedom for all. But when that steps on someone else, you are going to get corrected. And because this world is merciful, it may not be today or tomorrow — but it will happen. (Here’s a reminder of all things Leo.)
Thinking and doing for others, even and especially when it’s not convenient, will always yield the best results. Not martyrdom — a Leo would never, because they have genuine self-esteem. It’s doing for others with your whole heart because, actually, that is Leo’s game. They are ruled by the heart and make wonderful leaders because they do love all — including themselves. It’s just when that imbalance kicks in that things go sideways. The current president of America and the last Republican before him, Bush, and Clinton with his treatment of women — no bueno.
The South Node, according to the Kabbalists, is where we’ve gotten lazy. It’s where we default — and lack of consciousness will always not be it.
Famous Leo Stelliums: The Gift and the Shadow
How are you with validation? Do you need it, crave it, does it feed something in you that feels insatiable? That’s something to work on. Your validation should come from yourself.
Leo is ruled by the Sun. It’s a sign of leadership that loves people and genuinely cares for them. That’s not the same as needing a crowd adoring you to feel okay. Tom Cruise having a lot of Leo starts off our look at Leos.
Mick Jagger is a Leo stellium — Sun, Mercury, Pluto, Jupiter, North Node, Lilith, and Chiron — and his birthday falls on the exact day the South Node enters Leo. We all love him on stage. That Leo is born to perform, engage, and unite people. His personal relationships, though, are another story.
Madonna has a Leo stellium (and a Virgo one too, so she’s been navigating the South Node territory these past almost two years — and it continues. Good thing she has a spiritual practice).
Napoleon. Enough said. (9th house, no less. Mister country invader. Oof. BUT, he also did protect and maintain so many historical monuments.)
Barack Obama also has a Leo stellium. (He frustrated me early on with a dismissive moment to a reporter, so you can miss me on full admiration) — HOWEVER lol, he is someone many genuinely admire and I can see why, so you know, Leo stellium’s can do real leadership work. (I mean, Napoleon is buried in a place of great honor, so — exile, schmexile, in the hearts of many.)
Hillary Clinton has a Leo stellium, and both Bush and the current U.S. president are Leo risings.
Andy Warhol had a Leo stellium — a major artist who led a movement and a scene, but also not the healthiest relationship to others as a leader so there is that.
Danielle Steel — legendary bestselling author of love stories, and a peak Leo leader of publishing and storytelling, inspiring countless people not only to want more love in their lives but to tell their own stories. Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Pluto. Just wow. Obvi she was all about the love stories!
And then of course there is James Baldwin and his Leo stellium, whose legacy continues to lead from beyond like the brilliant, heart-centered warrior for love that he was. That is a Leo.
Famous People with Leo Stellium: What Their Charts Reveal
I am pointing out so many extraordinary Leos who are also cautionary tales. Many of their legacy failures revolve around failures of the ego — and many involve hurting others to the point of tragic ends.
You may say: well, I’m not a leader of a nation or a political party or anything. But that’s not true. You lead from where you are. And too small of an ego is also a problem.
People look up to you. Maybe that stranger being screamed at by their boss in the checkout line looks to you for help or a kind smile. What do you do? You are a leader in that moment. You can make a difference.

The competitiveness of prizes I find distasteful. And in the case of this prize, the publication of the short list, the deliberately publicised suspense, the speculation of the writers concerned as though they were horses, the whole emphasis on winners and losers is false and out of place in the context of literature.” Legend! This is how you call out the unhealthy Leo-Aquarius axis so groups do not harm and the sovereign individual is well appreciated. This happened during Sagittarius Season – full moon! -with a Sag Stellium, and Lilith in Sag, as it is now. Awesome Image via UT Austin Visual Arts Center.
Leadership is about a lot of small moments. Don’t let them slip by.
Speak up when you see wrong.
Be for others as you want others to be for you.
This next two years is about caring for the other — all the others, including those you don’t like. It’s about doing good because it’s good. Being for everyone’s freedom, as long as — as Baldwin said — it’s not rooted in another’s subjugation.
It’s about standing up for yourself and others with heart and love for all, knowing that in doing so, you create a ripple effect beyond what you can see or measure.
And yes, it’s also about great wild ideas (Aquarius), the future and technology (also Aquarius), and letting go of allowing others’ perceptions to control you in any way.
Personal sovereignty. Unity. A total revamping of what doesn’t work — for all.
How extraordinary is that?
With Pluto in Aquarius, the option to not be for all is simply not available. Pluto requires us to transform what doesn’t work.
With Jupiter in Leo, our egos and desires will be big — which means we have to remember others, always.
It’s a test. But as we enter this era coming out of the North Node in Pisces — love and mercy — and the South Node in Virgo — replacing judgment and criticism with discernment, service, and healing — we have a powerful launch into being for others, out loud.
Let’s use this fire and air energy for good.
